To get inspired for Valentine's Day, I painted my nails last night with a pink gradient. I had seen several of my favorite gurus using this technique lately so this is my first attempt.

Here is a shot of the polishes that I used:

Base coat - L'Oreal base coat
First layer - Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Crystal Strawberry
Second layer - LA Colors Art Deco in Baby Pink
Third layer - Zoya in Kat
Glitter - Wet and Wild in Sparkled
Top Coat - Sally Hansen Continuous Treatment Base and Top Coat

I painted my nails with one coat of my base coat, then one coat of the Crystal Strawberry. Crystal Strawberry is just a sheer frosty pink. Next I took the Baby Pink and a cosmetic sponge and dabbed that over the top two thirds of my nail. I did the same thing with Kat on the upper third of my nail. Once everything had dried for a while, I took Sparkled and applied that all over my nail. I was surprised how fast this dried. I applied my top coat to seal the glitter on. This was pretty easy to do and came out nice for Valentine's Day.

What are you doing for Valentine's Day?
