Everywhere you turn on beauty blogs and YouTube are reviews of the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour eye shadows. As soon as I saw these at the drugstore, I picked up two of them. After I tried them out, I went back and got two more.
The first two colors I purchased were Too Cool and Bad to the Bronze. When I went back, I picked up Pomegranate Punk and Tough as Taupe.
Too Cool is a shimmery white that works great to make any color eye shadow more vibrant. This is very frosty and looks pretty as an inner corner highlight.
Bad to the Bronze is a beautiful bronze color. It's great under neath golds and I like it under my L'oreal Infallible shadows as well.
Pomegranate Punk is a cranberry color that is great for the crease.
Tough as Taupe is the only color in this collection that has a matte finish. It's great for every day looks using taupe or for a smokey eye with silver.
I have worn all of these shades all over the lid and in the crease and they do not crease on me. I never wear them with a primer. Sometimes I just wear the cream shadow, other times I top it with a similar color. I wore them for nearly 24 hours once but since I rub my eyes in my sleep, I couldn't really tell how well they would hold up. I purchased mine at Rite Aid for about 7 dollars. I was able to score three dollars in Up Rewards when I bought the first set. When I bought the second two, Maybelline was buy one get one half off and I had earned three more dollars in Up Rewards from a different purchase, so I only spent about 3 dollars on the second set that I purchased. While I don't think I will purchase anymore shades, the silver and gold ones do look very pretty. Some of the bright orange and blue are just not really my style.
