I was looking to add more green to my eye shadow collection so I picked up the Grassy Knoll trio from LA Colors. This pallet only costs a dollar and the colors are buttery smooth. LA Colors is sold at the Dollar Tree.

Swatched with no primer.

The greens in this pallet are all different. None of them really go together to create a look. The first shade is a traditional grassy green. The middle shade is a more blue/green or teal color. The third shade is an olive green. My favorite of the three is the olive green shade. LA Colors came out with lots of other pallets in these large trio forms that are all just a dollar at Dollar Tree.

LA Colors made some dual ended eyeliner and shadow sticks. I got the one with a black liner and teal shadow stick. I use the teal end as liner rather than a shadow stick.

You can see from the shot of the pencil ends that I don't use the liner at all.

You can see from the swatch why I do not like the black liner. It's not creamy at all and I will not put it anywhere near my eyes. The shadow stick on the other hand is much creamier and works great as a liner. It's too bright for me to be a shadow base. These come in different colors but I haven't seen this at my dollar tree lately. I purchased this for one dollar.

Today I have two swatches of some of my LA Colors Art Deco polishes. These two are glitters in Silver Glitter and Blue Purple Glitter.

These glitters are not meant to be opaque. They are great to outline or highlight parts of your manicure since they have the stripper brushes. I found these polishes for a dollar at my local Dollar Tree.

When CVS was having the Garnier Moisture Renew Gel Moisturizer on sale for five dollars, I decided to give it a try. I have really dry skin and I find that this moisturizer is helping bring moisture back into my skin.

This gel moisturizer smells like the Freeman Cucumber Mask. It has a similar cooling sensation that the mask has. It is bringing a lot of moisture into my skin and I feel like it helps with puffiness under my eyes. I would defiantly repurchase this product, especially if I can get it for five dollars!

The third and final Wet n Wild Color Icon six pan pallet in my collection is Greed. Greed contains peach and gray colors to create subtle looks.

Top Row - matte light peach, shimmery light silver
Middle Row - matte peach, shimmery peach
Bottom Row - matte black, matte black with sparkle

Swatched with no primer.

Look at how dark those blacks are! I like how they are both matte but if you want a little sparkle, there is that as well. As you can see in the swatches, the lighter two colors in the shimmery side both contain lots of gold sparkle. I haven't used this pallet for any looks yet but I'm hoping those two shades still provide that shimmer on the eyes. I think the matte peach shade will be great for summer. As with my other two six pan pallets, these are being discontinued. If you spot them at your local drugstore, be sure to pick them up before they are gone.

While I was looking recently at my Wet n Wild Vanity pallet. I thought one of the shades looked like my single shadow in Nutty. This is the third shade on the shimmery side of the Vanity pallet next to the single shadow in Nutty.

Now that I have them next to each other, they don't really look that similar. Swatched with no primer.

Once I had swatched them together, they were two totally different colors. The shade from Vanity is more bronze while Nutty is more gray and taupey. I like both of these shades and wanted to show you this fun comparison.

My second Wet n Wild Color Icon six pan pallet is called Vanity. Vanity has the natural colors in the six pan collection

Top Row - matte peach, shimmery cream
Middle Row - matte beige, shimmery gold
Bottom Row - matte brown, shimmery medium brown

Swatched with no primer.

The shades in this pallet are great for every day looks. The mix of shimmer and matte works really well with these colors. This pallet is great for a quick look for work. I'm sad that this pallet is being discontinued so if you find it at your local drugstore, be sure to pick it up because it won't be around too much longer.

My last several posts have been about the Wet n Wild Color Icon Trios of my makeup collection. I'd now like to show you some of the six pan pallets that I have. Before we get to the pictures I wanted to mention that these pallets are being discontinued. If you like what you see, head out to your local drugstore and see if you can find these marked down.

This color icon six pan pallet is called Lust and it features purples (my favorite color). These pallets come with three matte and three shimmery shades.

Top Row- matte lavender, shimmery peach
Middle Row- matte medium purple, deep plum with gold shimmer
Bottom Row - matte deep purple, shimmery charcoal

Swatched with no primer.

The colors in this pallet are buttery soft. I like the mix of matte and shimmery colors together in one set. I think the charcoal in this pallet is what I was wishing the silver was in Don't Steal My Thunder. The only thing with this pallet is that the colors are so pigmented that if I get too much of that shimmery purple or the deep matte purple on my brush, my eye is overloaded with dark purple color. This is not an attractive look as it can make me look like I have a black eye. Remember to keep a light hand with these as they are so soft and pigmented.

The Wet n Wild Color Icon trio in Cool as Cucumber is made up of purple and green shades. I love the names that Wet n Wild came up with for this collection of shadows, they are all so fun and crafty.

Brow - shimmery light green
Crease - metallic purple
Eyelid - dark green

Swatched with no primer.

I purchased this pallet after I realized another pallet in my collection was a rather dud. I really love the purple in this pallet and it makes up for the crappy one in the Dancing in the Clouds trio. The Wet n Wild trios retail for $2.99 at most drugstores.

Knock On Wood, the next Wet n Wild Color Icon shadow in my collection was one that I spent a lot of time looking at in the drug store and putting back. After watching a tutorial by EmilyNoel83, I knew I needed a cranberry color in my collection and I defiantly found it here.

Brow - light pink
Crease - medium brown
Eyelid - cranberry

Swatched with no primer.

The cranberry shade in this pallet is my favorite. I love to wear it in the crease with a gold or lighter brown shadow (like the one from Sweet as Candy) on the lid. The Wet n Wild trios retail for $2.99 at most drugstores.

Today's post features another one of my Limited Edition Wet n Wild Trios in Dancing In the Clouds. This pallet came out in the Summer of 2011 in the Dream Weavers Collection.

Brow - Shimmery champagne
Crease - Matte purple
Eyelid - Copper

Swatched with no primer.

I love how many different ways I have seen to wear this particular pallet. Unfortunately for this pallet, the purple shade is a real dud. I like to wear it in the crease but it does come off rather patchy and will fade during the day, even with a primer. If I do want a purple with the look, I have many other purples in my collection that are better than this one. The brow bone shade in this set is my favorite. I like to wear it all over the lid. Since this was a limited edition item, it is no longer available in drugstores.

The Wet n Wild Go for the Gold Color Icon Trio was my most used eyeshadow set this summer. This was a Limited Edition Collection that came out in the Summer of 2011.

Brow - Shimmery soft pink
Crease - Deep shimmery brown
Eyelid - Gold

Swatched with no primer.

This collection of colors just screams summer. Both the brow and lid shades make great all over eye colors and the brown is beautiful in the crease. Like some of my other very pigmented Wet n Wild products, applying too much of the brown can ruin the look I am trying to achieve. It's always best to start with a little bit of product and continue adding until you reach your desired look. It's much harder to remove it when there is too much. Those are usually the mornings where I have to start over! Since this was a limited edition trio, it is no longer widely available in drugstores.

Today's post features the Wet n Wild Color Icon Trio in Don't Steal My Thunder. This is the "smokey eye" pallet of the Color Icon Trios.

Brow - Shimmery white
Crease - black
Eyelid - Shimmery Silver

Swatched with no primer.

Out of all my Wet n Wild trios, I use this one the least. I thought that this would be my perfect smokey eye, but I do not like the silver in this pallet. I think the shade is just too light for my liking. The Wet n Wild trios retail for $2.99 at most drugstores.

The Wet n Wild Color Icon Trio in Silent Treatment is my next neutral themed pallet.

Brow - Peach
Crease - Dark brown with shimmer
Eyelid- Light shimmery taupe

Swatches with no primer

This trio is one of my top favorites in my collection. The taupe shade in this is great for a quick sweep of color on the lid, some liner and mascara and you are out the door! These colors complement each other nicely. Once the Crease shade is on my eye, the shimmer is not as noticeable as in the pan or in the swatch. The Wet n Wild trios retail for $2.99 at most drugstores.

I have several of the Wet n Wild Color Icon Trios. This first post is about the neutral pallet that I own called Sweet as Candy.

Brow - Soft cream
Crease - light brown
Eyelid - Shimmery pink

Swatched with no primer.

While I described the brown in this trio to be a light shade of brown, this color is build-able  I love this color for the crease when I want to add more definition but still have the look be natural. Can you tell I've gotten a lot of use out of this pallet? The word Eyelid is nearly gone from the pink shade that I love so much! The Wet n Wild trios retail for $2.99 at most drugstores. Stay tuned to see more of my Wet n Wild collection.

I recently purchased two of the L'oreal Infallible eye shadows. The two I purchased are Bronzed Taupe and Amber Rush. These shadows are loose pigments that are pressed inside the jar. It comes with a little silver plastic insert to help you keep the pigment pressed.

Here is Bronzed Taupe. The name explains this color, it is a bronze taupe shade.

Amber Rush is a bronze pinkish shade

These shadows are super soft and really pigmented. Swatched without primer.

The top shade is Amber Rush and the bottom shade is Bronzed Taupe

As far as the 24 hour claim, I don't buy it. I don't have oily lids and these faded after a full day of work. They do however work great with a primer and work even better over the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze. These shadows are on the more expensive side for drug store at almost eight dollars each.

I recently went through my makeup collection and wanted to share with you my Wet n Wild eye shadow  As I am currently giving my nails a good dose of Nail Envy, the next few weeks will be full of some great drugstore makeup. Nouveau Cheap has all of the best Wet n Wild information (especially about their upcoming products) so I blame my collection on her. She reviewed several of the products that I'll be showing you, which is what encouraged me to buy them!

On to the first shadow. Today's post is featuring the Wet n Wild single eye shadow in Nutty. Nutty is a shimmery taupe color that is great for everyday. It's soft and bendable  It's the kind of shade that you can wear all over the lid and in the crease.

Swatched with no primer.

For $1.99 at most drug stores, the Wet n Wild single eye shadows are affordable and have great color payoff.
